Every new year comes with many decisions to change for the better: New Years Resolutions. Do you make New Years Resolutions? I don't usually make resolutions the coincide with the calendar years. Mine are a little more organic. Either is okay, as long as we stick with them.

So, in the New Year or any time of year, take some time to read these resolutions. If you want to read and commit to them all, which would be a great honor to God, you can call this your Journey to Resolve. It is a fitting title for this 15-resolution series published in 2024, 2025, and 2026. I provide a meaningful resolution drawn from every chapter 20, verse 24 (or 25 or 26, depending on the calendar year of publication) in the Bible. This series includes some amazing and inspirational stories straight from God's inspired Word. Enjoy and resolve.

God is present and jealous. He wants to be our One and Only.

Let's not settle for average or good enough. Let's honor God more earnestly.

Honor God by honoring the leaders He chose for us.

God is God of tough times as well as good times. We can trust Him for victory.






Lean into God and He will fight your battles.

Satan is leading an organized attack against us. Through humility and entrusting ourselves to our sovereign God, we can rise above the naysayers in our lives.






God wants to be our companion as we journey through life. Will we let Him walk with us?

Journey to Resolve: Allow God to Correct Me
(November 2025)

No matter how far gone we may be, we can let God cradle us in His arms.

Jesus taught His disciples about service and greatness in His kingdom.

God is aware of so much more than we are. Let's rely on Him for wisdom.

Get to know Jesus better and you will gain confidence in His promises.

God designed us to serve Him in a way that is unique for each one of us. The Apostle Paul is an inspiring example for us to follow.

Resolution 7: Follow God through Highs and Lows

  A mountaintop high. Indescribable. The view. The air. The freedom. Above it all. Breathe in… Exhale…   Now step back down for a moment. Let’s consider the mountain top high of a despicable king who somehow decided to obey God. In our walk through every 20:24 and 20:25 verse in the Bible, we find ourselves in the middle of a 3-part look at our responsibility to God as we consider kings and kingdoms in the books of Samuel, Kings, and Chronicles. Resolution 5: Nurture Quality Friendships

In February we celebrated Valentine’s Day in nearly every country of the world. It’s the month of love and romance. Relationships are on the mind and heart. In this post I share 3 characteristics of friendship between two people who shared something deeper than a romantic love. They shared an inspiring friendship that possibly rivals the best of relationships.
